Madame Alexander Doll is coming!! (and me talking to much)

Good evening everyone! It's Mickey's Girl!

So I had a few eBay sales and I got enough money to buy the Madame Alexander doll that they sell at Costco. If you want to check out the one I'm getting then click HERE . But I have a picture if your not that interested.

So I'm thinking of a name. I'll probably end up with Maddie short for Madison but I also like Margeret and maybe call her Maggie? But then I thought that it sounded like Maggie from Jane Austen and Unicorns......... What do you think? (Please comment or email me at southerndolls@gmail.com )

Doll activities

Good evening everyone! It's Mickey's Girl! So today I wanted to show you my doll's routine for the day.  First they all wake to me blowing the trumpet. (a toddler trumpet) Then everyone gets dressed and heads to the bathroom in pairs. After that they brush their hair and wait till everyone else is finished. Then we head out to the hall and I put pieces of paper in a bag with different sports and activities. When everyone has randomly picked their activity they get right to it. (unless they have to change for the event).

Samantha, Stacy, Kirsten, and Kendall headed to the beach (or hall if you want to be boring) to play Volleyball! I used our Ping-Pong table net as a Volleyball net.

KIRSTENS IS UP TO SERVE!
After they got set up Ginny and Ivy got ready for Bowling in the doll room. The bowling ball and pins are from AG and the alley is a shelf that I took out. You can see a glimpse of Ivy and Kit's room in the top left. (the Hello Kitty fan would be Ivy) There is also a pile of etc. behind Ginny and Ivy.

GO IVY!

Next Kit and Josefina got set up for Horseback Riding in the hall. The horse is sadly retired from Felicity's collection. (Kit is missing an eyelash on one eye so she can't "see" on that side)

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT KIT!

While they were going on a "Horse Adventure", Hunter and Anna went on a Scavenger Hunt. Hunter being the more organized one got a check list. Anna being more like me or in other words "unorganized", decided to be the lookout.

"I FOUND THE BEAVER!"

Finally Lanie and Julie headed out on a Nature Walk. The bird is from Hobby Lobby.

"I found a Cardinal. Shhh..."

That's everyone's activity of the day!

Sincerely,

Any questions?

Hi everyone its Mickey's Girl! I'm sorry I don't have anything to post today. The reason I didn't do a post yesterday is because we took a short trip to Glenn Rose, TX to see The Promise which is a play about Jesus's life.

So tomorrow I will post something. (what will I post? It's a surprise!) I have pictures ready for it.

I wanted to say that if you have any questions about our blog, want to request a post or just want to say hi then you can email me (and the dolls) at Southerndolls@Gmail.com !

Sincerely,

New girl in the house

So early this morning my Grandma gave me this baby doll to repair. She doesn't have a name so we all started calling her Gianna (Heather's idea). Everyone agreed that she looked like a Gianna.

I'm so sorry, I thought that I should turn her repairing into a post while I was conditioning her hair so it was too late : (. Shes all ready to go home but were not seeing my Grandma again for about a week or less. So she'll stay here for now.

My dolls can talk in front of me and my family only and only when we say the secret words. OK so here are the secret words: Too bad that's top secret sorry! That code is know by me, my family, and a few of my closest friends. We are all trying to make sure Gianna doesn't open her mouth at the wrong time!

Gianna has a strange attachment to Heather. It's like she's her mom or something. So I did some researching (right now my mother would be say "researching?! since when did you start researching?!") and I found out the Gianna is actually Heather's cousin. Heather almost explode with excitement when I told her. I'm assuming she won't be happy when Gianna is sold on eBay for a couple bucks.

New updates later sorry I didn't have much to post this time! Not much excitement happens in this house.

We have a new email just for this blog it's   Southerndolls@gmail.com  So email that if you have any questions, post request, or just want to say "HI!" !

Sincerely,

Riley dresses up as Duffy bear!

OK so I know it's all little early, but I started dressing my dolls up for Halloween (post later) and so I started dressing my two Bitty Babies. I dressed Rosie (Rosalinda) up as a cowgirl. She had a vintage looking dress/onezie on and a cowgirl hat from Hobby Lobby. Me and my Mom punched holes in the sides and put shoelace through each side and tied them together under her chin so they'll stay there.
Rosie dressed up as a cowgirl. :)
After we did that I got Riley and couldn't find anything for her! So I became desperate and took my Duffy bears clothes off and put it on Riley.
So when I put it on her, it wasn't like it was a little tight or a little loose. It fit Riley perfectly! I just wish I had the Buzz Lightyear out fit, that would be hilarious.

But (sadly) I didn't have a Buzz outfit, so we dealt with the sailor costume.

Sorry, you can't exactly see her belly down. She just had a plastic diaper on your not missing much. ;) I tied the ear bands together with yarn so it will stay on her head!

This is my first post so I didn't do the best but I'll get better!

Thank you to "Karenmomofthree", "Kit Snicket", and "Mackenzie Rae" for being one of the first to follow my blog! It means a lot to me!

Sincerely,
